KING (nee Roberts), Penny

Our family is devastated. Unexpectedly, at Sault Area Hospital, in the early hours of Sunday November 4, two souls were reunited once again surrounded by loving family. Too soon mom... too soon.

There was no one more devoted to her family than Penny. She was our mother, grandmother, sister, friend.

Best friend and caring wife of the late Marvyn. Amazing Mom of Craig (Michelle), Lorrie (Trevor) Sawchyn, and Brad (Ashley). Her grandchildren Ashton, Lilliana, Aidyn, Mackenzie, Taylor, Mak and Jacob were her entire world.

Daughter of the late Arnold and the late Jean Roberts. Daughter in law of the Late Jean King.

Sister of Wayne Roberts, Wanda (Michael) Mitchell, Brent ( Jennifer) Roberts, Brenda ( late Ron) Strachan. Sister in-law of Colleen (Lloyd) Honey, Caryl Belanger, Freida (Dan) Sherrington and Beth (Paul) Grimard. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Penny was a friend and support to so many. Marvyn and Penny had a love that was shared with their family and friends who were everything to the both of them.

We invite everybody to join us for Visitation at East Korah Maxwell (corner of 4th Line and Peoples Road) on Thursday November 8 from 7-9 pm and again on Friday November 9 from 12:30-2pm with service to follow on Friday November 9 at 2 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.

Donations in Penny’s name to ARCH, and prayers would be appreciated by the family.

I looked upon a rose today, Glistening with morning dew, and found its shining beauty, reminded me of you. But the rose has just a season, before its petals part, while you shall bloom forever in the garden of our hearts.
