Percival (Percy) Elliott Lethbridge
1930-2018
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Percival Elliott Lethbridge at the age of 88 years young on February 5, 2018. He will be forever missed by his love of 62 years, Elaine Lethbridge (nee Seiling). Treasured always by his children Valeria Rouleau (Alain), Lynn Lethbridge (Suzanne), Mark Lethbridge (Cathy) and Scott Lethbridge (Elke). He was a patient and loving papa to Melanie (Chris), Stephanie (Derek), Derek, Elysia (Dave), Shawna, Alex, and Trystyn. Percy was blessed to be great-papa to Lauren, Reece, Cole and Benjamin. The Lethbridge family is a big one. Parents, the late Percival and late Myrtle Lethbridge had 7 boys and 8 girls: Dorothy (late Edward) Philie, late Audrey (late Andy) Allen, late Howard, late Marjorie, late Bill (late Mary), Eldon (Dorothy), Beth (late Bob), Marlene (late Edgar) Wilson, Patricia (Sonny) Berry, late Rose-Marie, Douglas (Marg), Dennis (“Bun”), Nancy (late Mike) McClelland, Gordon (Diana). Percy was loved by many nieces and nephews who all have fond memories of time spent at the cottage in Restoule, Ontario. Friends are the family we choose. Percy and Elaine had their family community for 40 wonderful years in Restoule and would like to thank each and every one for their friendship. Percy also enjoyed his years of community service and was a dedicated member of the Restoule Lyons Club since 1991. The family would like to give special thanks to Percy’s dedicated family physician, Dr. Danielle Quinn of Powassan, Ontario. At Percy’s request, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held both in Sault Ste. Marie and in Restoule at a later date. Percy will be laid to rest in the family plot in Restoule.
