He put His arms around you and took you home to rest . . . . .It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Teresa on Thursday, December 21st at the Sault Area Hospital in her 85th year. Teresa is predeceased by her husbands, Geniale (Gino) Sicoli (2002) and Mario Coccimiglio (1975). Daughter of the late Eugenio and Giuseppina Naccarato, daughter-in-law of the late Francesco and Angela Coccimiglio and the late Franceso and Louisa Sicoli. Cherished sister of Maria Coccimiglio (Cesare), the late Giovanni (John) Naccarato (Michelina), the late Rosa Naccarato and Antonio (Anna) Naccarato of Calabria, Italy. Sister-in-law of the late Elvira (late Ralph) Guzzo, the late Rosaria (late Arcangelo) Coccimiglio, the late Louisa (late Salvatore) Meraglia, the late Anna (late Eugenio) Rosa, the late Maria (late Antonio) Plastino, and Eugenio (Rosa) Coccimiglio. Dear sister-in-law of the late Maria (late Francesco) Guzzo, the late Antonio (Elena) Sicoli, the late Ida (late Ernesto) Cuglietta, Amadeo (late Imelda), Rosario (late Maria), Alfredo (late Nunziata) Sicoli, Armando (Lina) Sicoli.Teresa was an avid gardener whose passion was envied by many. She was a cook and a baker extraordinaire, and appropriately nicknamed “roadrunner” by her coworkers at Suriano’s and Vavala’s. Her taralli and her Christmas baking, which only her little hands and magic could produce, will be sorely missed by all. Zia will forever be in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews both here and abroad. Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and neighbours for her kindness and generosity. Her love and never-ending support has touched us all and her passing has left a void in all our lives. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St.) on Wednesday December 27th, 2017 from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Paul Conway Officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department staff, especially Sherri and Marlene and to the “angels” on 3C, Nick, Jeni, Ana, Lora and Lisa who treated Teresa with dignity and respect and who made her journey a peaceful one. A special thank you to Doctors Suppes, Castellani, and Alhasan and to Dr. Jennifer Patterson, whose compassion and kindness brought comfort and peace to the family.
